We're creating an international network of adaptive toy libraries.
Adaptive toys belong in classrooms, clinics, and homes—but they often don't exist in these spaces because of their prohibitive costs. FairPlay is working to change that. Our team of volunteer toy adapters is working to create a network of adaptive toy libraries to bring accessible to play to many children for generations to come. FairPlay is committed to bringing adaptive toys and assistive technology to every child and family who needs them—this means we commit to working within any budget.
We have a sliding scale so that every facility and community center has the option to for the price of materials alone, closing the gap in cost between adaptive toys and non-adaptive toys. We also have a donation fund to sponsor libraries 100% for under-resourced facilities.
We currently have toy libraries in seven states within the U.S., two libraries underway in Canada, and four libraries underway in Australia. No matter where you are located, if you are a facility looking to receive adaptive toys, apply for one through this quick form.
